Durvet prides itself on our unique approach to how we do business. Our primary goal is providing top-notch customer service to ALL of our customers throughout the distribution chain.
To accomplish this goal, we must continually identify needs within the company that best position us to serve our distributor members and their customers.
So, with that in mind, here we...GROW...again!
As we move into summer and some of the changes that lie ahead with the implementation of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) - read more about the warehouse updates - a HUGE need was identified in the warehouse.
We’ve brought in two new full-time employees – Jake Brown and John Huey.
They've joined the other fearless members of our warehouse team who have been tasked with learning a new system while still keeping product flowing in and out of the warehouse with little interruption to our members.
Inside the office, we’ve expanded as well! Chad Lemkuhl has rejoined us as a full-time employee in an IT Manager role. He will be working closely with Rick and the warehouse team as the WMS is rolled out, in addition to managing the day-to-day IT needs of the company.
The marketing department was also identified as a team in need of a few more players. Courtney Gellhaus has been hired to fill the open Marketing Coordinator role and primarily will be responsible for member communications as well as programs, product launches and anything else that gets thrown her way.
Additionally, we’ve added an intern position to the marketing team that will be filled by Brittany Couch. Internships are an excellent way to introduce college students to a field of work that they may not have considered otherwise. We’re excited to have the opportunity to showcase the animal health industry to Brittany.
If you happen to be in the office, take a walk around and meet some of our new faces! We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Durvet team!
