Durvet and The Greatest Show on Earth

When you read "The Greatest Show on Earth" in the title, I wasn't referring to the circus.

I was talking about the largest agriculture show of its kind in the world, the World Ag Expo, held every February in the San Joaquin Valley of California.

Each year this show attracts over 100,000 attendees from over 50 countries. Beginning in 1967 as a local farm and equipment show, the World Ag Expo is now home to over 2.6 million (yes...TWO POINT SIX MILLION) square feet of exhibits.

With over 1500 exhibits to see, it's impossible to see everything available in the three days the expo is going on.
Tucked in one tiny corner of an enormous complex, the animal health industry resides in “the dairy barn”.

Housed in this area you will find a wide range of companies who are dedicated to animal health and countless people dedicated to this industry.

This annual event is my personal favorite. Of all the meetings I attend, the World Ag Expo has something for everyone involved in the production of food for the entire world.

Do you have 10,000 milk cows? Do you have five chickens or a goat?  If the answer is YES to any of these, then there's something here for you and your operation.

Each year at the conclusion of the Ag Expo, I get the honor of being a guest of Steven and Leslie Gardner of Veterinary Service at the annual California Agricultural Leadership breakfast. development for emerging agriculture leaders.WAE-2017 (24)

For almost 50 years, graduates of their leadership program have gone on to become leaders in politics, the agricultural industry, and local leaders in their communities.

Durvet has attended this event for over 15 years now displaying our wide range of products, as well as supporting our member/owners at this show.

This is an outstanding organization dedicated to advanced leadership

The World Ag Expo is the place to meet the people and see the products that help produce our food. If you ever get the chance to attend, I guarantee you will walk away feeling good about the safe, sustainable production systems that are in place to feed our world.
